NCJAR launches the Senior REALTORS® Resource Network to connect seniors, caregivers, and families with trusted housing resources and local expertise.
MORRISTOWN, NJ, UNITED STATES, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The North Central Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NCJAR) has received a Housing Opportunity Grant from the National Association of REALTORS® to support the launch of the Senior REALTORS® Resource Network, a new community initiative designed to connect seniors, caregivers, and families with trusted housing information, education, and local resources.
The grant is made possible through the National Association of REALTORS® Community Development Advocacy program, which supports REALTOR® associations in strengthening communities through advocacy, partnerships, and local initiatives.
Through the Senior REALTORS® Resource Network, NCJAR will bring educational programs and resources directly into local communities through partnerships with municipalities, senior centers, libraries, faith-based organizations, community groups, and other trusted partners.
Programs will address topics important to seniors and their families, including aging in place, housing stability, housing transitions, homeownership preservation, fraud prevention, estate and legacy planning, and available community resources.
REALTORS® will play an important role in the initiative through a trained volunteer Task Force. Participating REALTORS® will receive specialized education and serve as community resources, helping connect seniors and families with reliable information and services. The program is focused on education and community service—not solicitation or lead generation.
“REALTORS® are more than real estate professionals—we are neighbors, advocates, and trusted resources in the communities we serve,” said Carolyn Bardach, President of NCJAR. “Through the Senior REALTORS® Resource Network, we are bringing together REALTORS®, community partners, and local expertise to help seniors and their families access the information and resources they need to make informed housing decisions.”
NCJAR will also engage Affiliate Business Partners, municipalities, nonprofit organizations, housing professionals, senior-service providers, and other community stakeholders to expand the resources available through the Network.
The initiative reflects the REALTOR® role beyond the transaction—bringing housing knowledge, community connections, and advocacy leadership together to strengthen local communities.
REALTORS® and Community Partners Can Get Involved
NCJAR is currently recruiting REALTORS® to participate in the Senior REALTORS® Resource Network Task Force and Affiliate Business Partners and community organizations interested in contributing expertise and resources.
